Houston police say a man and a woman have been charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting in a strip mall parking lot on Saturday.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on the 10000 block of Belknap Road, according to the Houston Police Department.
Officers went to a report of a shooting and discovered a man with a gunshot wound in the parking lot. He was brought to a hospital and later pronounced dead.
The victim identified was Sean Bree, 39.
According to the Houston Police Department, Fort Bend County officials have filed murder charges against Iddris Umaru, 23, and Axzey Mojica, 22. According to police, both individuals are still free of arrest as of this writing.
According to detectives from the HPD Homicide Division, investigators swiftly identified Umaru and Mojica as individuals of interest, and further investigation led to their identification as suspects.
Charges were filed on Tuesday, June 9.
