A 15-year-old boy was apprehended Wednesday night in connection with an armed robbery at the Weis Market in Elkridge, Howard County police said.
At 8 p.m. on June 10, officers were dispatched to the grocery store in the 6500 block of Waterloo Road.
A store employee informed detectives that when he approached a person stealing products, the suspect showed a pocket knife before fleeing.
Police apprehended the suspect nearby.
There were no reported injuries, according to officials.
A 15-year-old kid from Elkridge has been charged with armed robbery, assault, and theft.
