Woman discovered dead outside west Houston apartment complex

Houston police are investigating after a woman was discovered dead outside an apartment complex in west Houston on Friday night.

Officers received a complaint shortly after 8 p.m. about a woman lying on the ground at an apartment complex on Woodland Park Drive. The Houston Fire Department pronounced the woman dead on the scene.

The victim’s identity has not yet been revealed. Authorities stated that the woman seemed to be in her mid-30s.

It is uncertain whether the woman lived in the apartment building or what caused her death.
