Multiple people were apprehended on Tuesday after Oklahoma City Police linked a vehicle to a series of robberies.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a suspected robbery at a convenience shop near North Mustang Road and Northwest 10th Street around 1:46 a.m.
Investigators say a caller stated that a man robbed the business and escaped in a white Dodge Dart with a black hood. According to OCPD, surveillance video recorded the suspect with a weapon during the heist.
Following that, the Oklahoma City Police Department claimed that similar robberies occurred at several convenience stores in northwest Oklahoma City. One is at North Council Road and Northwest 122nd Street, another near North Rockwell Avenue and Northwest 112th Street, and the third near North MacArthur Boulevard and West Hefner Road.
Later, officers said they were able to identify the car used in the robberies based on an earlier disturbance complaint at an apartment near Northwest 122nd Street and Green Valley Drive.
When authorities arrived at the apartment complex, they discovered the vehicle parked outside an adjacent unit. According to the OCPD, officers set up a perimeter outside the apartment and detained four people after making contact with those inside.
One of the detainees, Carl Douglas Wyatt, 20, was captured by police on the site. There have been no charges filed at this time. A second person was also apprehended, although their identity has not yet been revealed.
The probe is still ongoing.
