Two women have been arrested and charged with theft in connection with a plan that involved taking items from a Dollar General store and later selling it on Facebook Marketplace.

Marsha Schultz, 44, and Stacey Leestema, 46, have been charged with grand theft for allegedly stealing over $44,000 from the store on Alexis and Lewis between May and August of 2025.

According to the police investigation, the store manager witnessed the two pretending to scan products being checked out by co-conspirators posing as customers while hiding items in bins.

These things would subsequently be sold through their Facebook accounts.

They both appeared in court for pre-trial proceedings on June 17.
