A Florida man won a massive $21.5 million lottery jackpot.
The Florida Lottery announced that 61-year-old Primitivo Batista of Clermont won the $21.5 million Florida Lotto prize.
The Central Florida man elected to accept his winnings in a single, lump-sum payment of $11,750,158.50.
The Lake County winner bought his winning ticket at BJ’s Wholesale Club, which is located at 2577 S. U.S. Highway 27 in Clermont.
The Florida Lottery confirmed this month that he won the large jackpot from the February 4, 2026, drawing at the lottery’s Orlando District Office.
Since its beginning in 1988, the Florida Lotto has awarded over $11 billion in prizes, created 1,108 millionaires, and raised over $8.63 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
