A 17-year-old was detained for carrying a handgun during the AFRAM Festival on Saturday afternoon, according to Baltimore Police.
According to officials, on June 20 about 4:30 p.m., an officer on foot patrol at the Druid Hill Park festival noticed a teenage boy whose actions prompted officers to assume he was carrying a weapon.
The officer alerted the other officers, and the 17-year-old boy was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.
Officials stated a firearm had been recovered.
