Woman wins $500K lottery prize on her way to family reunion

A Tennessee woman stopped at an Ohio gas station en route to her family reunion and won $500,000 with a scratch-off lotto ticket.

The Nashville woman told Ohio Lottery officials that she stopped at the S&G gas station on Fremont Pike in Perrysburg to fill up her tank before heading to her family reunion.

At the checkout, she noticed a $10 Ohio Lottery Bingo Times 50 scratch-off ticket and purchased one, which revealed a $500,000 win.

The woman claimed she was able to keep her large victory a secret during the family gathering, but she intends to utilize some of her cash to do something nice for her family. She also stated that she hopes to use her prize money to go on a trip.
