A Marion County man won $10 million in a recent Powerball drawing.

The Florida Lottery reported that Christopher Trail, 51, won a $10 million jackpot in the Powerball drawing on March 11, 2026. On March 18, Trail claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.

Trail purchased his winning ticket from a Circle K on 10030 County Road 44 in Leesburg.

Next drawing details

The next Powerball drawing is planned for Saturday, June 27, at 10:59 p.m. ET, with an estimated prize of $348 million. To be eligible, players must have purchased their tickets by 10 p.m. ET.

Powerball’s impact on Florida education

Since Florida joined Powerball in 2009, the game has raised more than $3.37 billion for education statewide. Florida is one of the top-selling Powerball jurisdictions in the US, with over 158 million winning tickets worth more than $4.07 billion in prizes, including 17 jackpot winners.
