A Baltimore man was taken into custody in connection with a fatal stabbing while being treated in a hospital.
Toi Stukes, 50, of Baltimore, faces first-degree murder charges for his role in the stabbing.
On June 20, about 1:40 p.m., officers were called to a home in the 400 block of East 25th Street for a reported cut.
When authorities entered the home, they discovered 56-year-old Shonda Singleton with many lacerations on her body.
Medics responded and transported Singleton to a nearby hospital, where she died.
Stukes was served with a murder warrant on June 26, 2026, while receiving medical treatment at a local hospital.
After treatment, officials said Stukes would be moved to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
