A 39-year-old Lady Lake man was taken into custody Monday afternoon after a domestic disagreement turned physical at a local residence.
Eulises Gilberto Tirado was arrested by the Lady Lake Police Department at his house on Padgett Circle on a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault.
According to the arrest affidavit, officers arrived at the residence about 3:35 p.m. to investigate a violent altercation there. When cops arrived, they interrogated the victim, who stated that an argument with Tirado had escalated. The victim claimed that Tirado confronted them, took a “bladed stance,” and balled his hands as if about to fight. Tirado then allegedly shoved the victim in the chest with both his open hands.
Responding authorities noticed no visible injuries on the victim, who affirmed that no injuries occurred during the shove.
According to the report, Tirado and the victim have been romantically involved for about a year and have been living together as a family for the previous six months.
Tirado, a Massachusetts native, was transferred to Lake County Jail without additional incident. He was eventually released after posting a $1,000 bond.
