UPDATE: The State College Police Department has announced that Summers has been found.
According to a press release, Summers was found on Sunday morning.
ORIGINAL: According to police, Summers has been brought to a local hospital and is being treated by medical specialists.
A news statement states that the State College Police Department is aggressively looking for a woman who went missing on the evening of July 4th.
Freda Summers, 75, was last seen on Saturday about 8:30 p.m. on Discovery Drive in Boalsburg. According to the press release, Summers stands between 5’5 and 5’6 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds.
Summers suffers from dementia and is said to be walking.
Police have encouraged anybody with information on her whereabouts to contact the State College Police Department at (814) 234-7150, by email at [email protected], or by sending an anonymous report through the State College Police Department website.
