The principal of a charter school in Lake County has been taken into custody for DUI.

According to the Clermont Police Department, Christina Alcalde and Jennifer Jimenez were detained last weekend for “DUI-related offenses” and sent to Lake County Jail.

According to the arrest affidavits, the two women were in the same car early Sunday morning, both inebriated.

An officer apprehended Jimenez, the driver.

However, authorities say Alcalde was pulled over hours later while driving inebriated in another automobile. That’s when she got arrested.

Police said both ladies claimed to be principals at Pinecrest Lakes Academy Charter School in Minneola.
