A Missouri Lottery player has won $100,000 after winning the top prize on a scratch-off ticket purchased in St. Peters.
The winning ticket was from the “50X Payout” scratch-off game. It was purchased from the On the Run petrol station at 203 Mid Rivers Mall Drive.
The winner revealed the moment she won after opting to switch from scratchers, which she usually plays.
“Normally, I play the crosswords, but I just happened to pick up a couple of (these), and one was a winner,” she replied.
When asked how she meant to spend the money, the winner said that she would repay the shopkeeper who sold her the winning ticket.
“I’m gonna track down the young man who sold me the ticket and give him some money, too,” she replied.
“50X Payout” is a $5 scratcher game with rewards totaling more than $16 million, including a $100,000 million jackpot. The odds of winning any prize are 1 in 4.03.
Players of “50X Payout” have won more over $15 million in prizes since the game’s introduction in June 2025. More than $1 million in awards have gone unclaimed, including three $20,000 rewards and two $5,000 prizes.
