A Georgia man was detained on Tuesday after allegedly being involved in the theft of over $120,000 in products from Kenwood Towne Centre, according to court records.

Jordan Maurice Grimes, 25, of Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested and charged with stealing, tampering with evidence, possession of criminal tools, and criminal damage, according to criminal complaints filed in Hamilton County Municipal Court.

According to records, Grimes entered the mall’s Watches of Switzerland store, cracked the glass, and took $123,200 in watches.

According to police, Grimes used a hammer during the theft.

According to the criminal complaint, Grimes attempted to hide more than $100,000 in stolen watches from investigators who used cameras to identify the suspect.

Grimes was arrested and brought to the Hamilton County Justice Center, where he was given a bond of $22,500.

He is scheduled to appear in court on July 25 for tampering and criminal tools charges as well as on July 31 for theft and damage allegations.
