Four men were arrested and three firearms were seized at Gunpowder State Park, Hammerman Area Sunday night, according to the Maryland Natural Resources Police.
On July 26, about 7:15 p.m., officers from the Maryland National Guard and the Baltimore County Police Department were dispatched to the state park in response to a report of shots fired and a group of people armed with guns on a park trail.
When officers arrived, they found and arrested four men. They were apprehended, police said.
Authorities reported that three weapons had been recovered and seized.
Charges are pending against all four men.
The investigation is underway.
