A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a $1 million ticket after purchasing a winning scratch-off at a Kwik Fill in Potter County.
According to the Pennsylvania Lottery, the winning Triple Red 777 Scratch-Off ticket was purchased at Kwik Fill, 109 North Oswayo St., Shinglehouse.
The retailer will be awarded a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Triple Red 777 is a $30 scratch-off game with a $1 million jackpot.
Lottery officials warned players that scratch-off winnings expire one year after the game’s final selling date. Winners should sign the back of their tickets right away and contact the Pennsylvania Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to start the claims process.
The Pennsylvania Lottery stated that scratch-off tickets are allocated at random, so neither the lottery nor merchants know where winning tickets will be sold until a reward is claimed.
