A boy was located safe after a car was taken on Chicago’s West Side on Friday night.
Just before 11:40 p.m., Chicago police responded to a kidnapping in the 5800 block of West Adams. According to police, a mother got into a dispute with a friend, who then stole her car while her 7-year-old son was still inside.
Police said offers found the car and the toddler shortly after, along with the child’s grandmother.
There was no further information provided about the incident.
It is unclear whether charges were filed.
Area Four detectives are conducting an investigation.
