A Westwood man has been arrested and accused of attacking a Cincinnati police officer and another guy, according to court records.
Courtney Edwards, 35, struck the officer in the head with a closed fist on Tuesday, according to a criminal complaint filed by District 3 police.
Edwards is also accused of striking another man, a civilian, with his hands and feet, causing serious physical harm to the victim, according to another criminal complaint.
Edwards is being jailed without bond at Hamilton County Jail.
According to the allegations, he is charged with a felony count of assault for striking the officer as well as felonious assault for attacking the citizen.
Additional information regarding the event was not immediately available Wednesday morning.
Edwards is set to appear in Hamilton County Municipal Court at 9 a.m.
