A Massachusetts man wanted for deliberately burning property was arrested in Enfield on Monday, according to police.
Aurelio Duclerc, 47, of Springfield, was held on a $100,000 bond after being accused as a fugitive from justice, according to a news release.
Police said they were initially told that a white vehicle had been parked in a Pearl Street municipal parking lot for more than a month. According to police, the vehicle “had trash accumulating around the doors,” and its registration plate was for a BMW sedan.
The occupant inside the van was recognized as Duclerc, who was wanted in Massachusetts for deliberately burning or helping in the burning of wood or other property, according to authorities.
There was no further information available about the charges Duclerc faced in the warrant.
