A fugitive wanted in Indiana was apprehended after a motorbike chase in western Kentucky.

According to McCracken County Sheriff’s Office detectives, the incident began at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday night when a deputy attempted to stop a motorcyclist after noticing a speeding infraction on McKendree Road.

According to the officer, the driver, Kevin Brantley, 34, of Evansville, Indiana, failed to stop and the high-speed chase began.

Investigators say Brantley ultimately surrendered and was taken into custody. He is facing many counts including flight and traffic infractions.

Brantley is wanted in Indiana on narcotics and firearms offenses. He is currently being held in the McCracken County Jail.
