TRANSYLVANIA COUNTY, N.C. — A magnitude 2.3 earthquake was reported in Transylvania County on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The quake hit at 9:35 a.m. about 4 miles southeast of Brevard. It had a depth of 5.8 miles. So far, 94 people reported to the USGS that they felt the quake.
