A woman in her 30s was stopped by police Thursday morning after causing two collisions while attempting to pass a TriMet bus.
According to authorities, the woman became impatient while waiting for a bus near Southwest Murray Boulevard and Southwest Farmington Road. She collided with another vehicle while attempting to avoid it and continued south on Murray Boulevard.
Moments later, she collided with another car on Southwest Murray Boulevard and Southwest Bonnie Brae Street, rendering her vehicle inoperable. Two Beaverton police officers and the driver of the second car confronted the woman on the scene.
She was cited for hit-and-run, driving while suspended, and driving without insurance.
