A Augusta player is thousands of dollars richer after winning a jackpot in an online Georgia Lottery game over the weekend.
According to the Georgia Lottery, the lucky player won $16,396 while playing the Money Strike Jackpots on Saturday. The winning play was placed using either the Georgia Lottery mobile app or the official website.
The Augusta victory was part of a profitable weekend for online gambling, attracting participants from all throughout the state. Other Weekend Winners Included:
- Douglasville: A resident won $65,000 playing KENO! on Sept. 27.
- Cumming: A player won $11,021 playing Fiesta Loco on Sept. 24.
- Rockmart: A player won $10,000 playing Georgia Wild Star MEGA Jackpot on Sept. 24.
- Union City: Three separate tickets won top prizes of $10,000 each in the Sept. 26 evening Georgia FIVE drawing. All three winning tickets were bought at the Majik Market located at 3985 Jonesboro Road.
