1 critically injured in shooting on Indy’s west side

An early Thursday morning shooting on the west side left one person critically injured.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a complaint of a person shot in the 1100 block of Shadowview Way E. Dr., near West Washington and West Morris streets, around 2:40 a.m. on Thursday.

When authorities arrived, they discovered someone with a gunshot wound. The person was sent to a hospital in critical condition.

Anyone with information should contact IMPD at (317) 327-3475. Tipsters who want to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-TIPS (8477).
