A subsequent vehicle search uncovered several pieces of jewelry, which investigators say may be linked to a theft reported in July.
Deputies arrested Rosario at the scene, and he now faces multiple charges, including trafficking in fentanyl (4 to 14 grams).
The sheriff’s office emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and additional charges could be filed.
