A man accused of stabbing a 55-year-old to death in 2022 was discovered and apprehended in Hawaii.
Nasir Reed, 25, of Chicago, is charged with first-degree murder based on a warrant.
He was apprehended at O’Hare by US Marshals on Saturday, although Chicago police said he had previously been discovered and extradited from Hawaii.
It is unclear where he was in Hawaii at the time.
Reed is suspected of fatally stabbing a 55-year-old man on New Year’s Eve 2022 in the 300 block of West 87th Street.
