A man accused of defrauding a Lancaster County insurance provider out of almost $1 million was taken into custody last week in Indiana and is reportedly awaiting extradition to Pennsylvania.
Glenn Johnson and his business, Elite Injury Representatives, LLC, are facing charges after investigators discovered that he allegedly enabled $949,639 in payments from Donegal Insurance by falsely claiming that his business was a law firm representing a client in an accident case.
“This type of criminal activity is theft and fraud, which raises insurance premiums for law-abiding citizens,” Attorney General Sunday stated. “I commend our investigators, the grand jurors, and our out-of-state partners for holding the defendant accountable for this elaborate scheme.”
Johnson allegedly founded his company while working at Donegal in 2024 and 2025, according to investigations. Police allege that he used his position as a claims adjuster assigned to an accident claim to enter fake medical records and notes into the Donegal claims file.
According to the paperwork, officials think Johnson got $949,639.54 in payments made to Elite Injury Representatives, LLC.
Johnson faces the following charges:
- Corrupt organizations
- Dealing with proceeds of unlawful activities
- Theft by deception
- Insurance fraud
- Forgery
This case was brought to the 55th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury.
