A man was tragically shot in the head on Chicago’s Far South Side on Tuesday evening, according to police.
Around 6 p.m., police reported a shooting in the Roseland neighborhood’s 10500-block of South Eggleston Avenue.
The 59-year-old victim was brought to Christ Hospital and pronounced dead. His name was not immediately clear.
The circumstances surrounding the incident and the source of the gunshots were not immediately known.
Detectives in the area are conducting an investigation.
