A federal grand jury has indicted an East Boston man on charges of being a felon in possession of a handgun and machine gun. Three privately manufactured firearms (ghost guns), four machine gun conversion devices, a 3D printer, five magazines, and 31 privately manufactured firearm receivers were purportedly discovered during a search on March 31, 2026.
Angel Negron, 47, faces one count of a felon in possession of a handgun and one count of possessing a machine gun. Negron was previously arrested and charged with a criminal complaint in March 2026. He is still jailed pending a hearing on May 6, 2026.
According to the criminal documents, Negron used his eBay account to order 29 weapon parts for delivery to his apartment between January 14 and March 2, 2026. Furthermore, on March 3, 2026, Negron allegedly filed an online complaint with a firearm firm, claiming that a trigger he purchased from the company’s eBay store did not fire his firearm correctly. Negron allegedly sent a photograph of a handgun with a 3D printed frame.
On March 31, 2026, a search of Negron’s apartment yielded three privately created firearms (ghost guns), four machine gun conversion devices, a 3D printer, five magazines, and 31 privately made firearm receivers.
