A winning lottery ticket worth more than $50,000 was just sold at a grocery store in The Villages over the weekend.

The top-prize-winning ticket was sold at the Publix at Magnolia Plaza, located at 2135 Everglades Lane in The Villages, for the Florida Lottery’s Fantasy 5 evening drawing on Sunday, May 17.

The winning numbers from Sunday’s evening drawing were 6, 19, 22, 34, and 35. According to the Florida Lottery, the ticket was not a “QuickPick,” which means the user had to manually select the winning combination.

The jackpot for the drawing was shared between two top-prize-winning tickets sold throughout the state, yielding an individual payout of $50,724.99.

The other winning ticket for Sunday’s lottery was sold at the Maher Food Market in St. Petersburg.

As of Monday morning, the prize for both tickets had gone unclaimed.

Fantasy 5 is a daily game in which players choose five numbers from 1 to 36. Sunday’s divided jackpot follows another recent local lotto win from earlier this month.
