49-Year-Old Creswell Man Dies In Crash South Of Eugene

A Creswell man was killed when his vehicle crashed into a tree just south of Eugene, the Lane County Sheriff’s Office said May 23.

Isaac Richard Aanrund, 49, was discovered unresponsive on May 21 after deputies responded to reports of a smashed car in the 32000 block of Dillard Loop at 10 p.m. A caller called to report a vehicle that had collided with a tree and an unconscious driver.

First responders extracted Aanrund from the vehicle and transported him to a nearby hospital. He did not survive his injuries.

Pleasant Hill Fire, Goshen Fire, and South Lane Fire all responded to the incident. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office investigated the crash.
