Authorities say two women were injured in a shooting in north Minneapolis Sunday night, but no arrests have been made.
Penn Avenue North shooting
The Minneapolis Police Department responded to the 700 block of Penn Avenue North just after 5 p.m. Sunday after receiving multiple ShotSpotter activations and allegations of gunshots.
When authorities arrived, they found two ladies with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Both were sent to Hennepin Healthcare for treatment.
According to police, the two women were outside at the time of the shooting. Authorities did not indicate whether the women were the intended targets.
No arrests made
Police said no arrests have been made. Authorities are investigating the events leading up to the shooting.
