Metro Police announced that a Las Vegas police officer faces multiple domestic violence charges.
Officials with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said officers arrested Jeremiah Jordan and booked him into the Clark County Detention Center Friday. He faces one charge of domestic violence assault with a deadly weapon, three charges of domestic violence coercion with threat of physical force and one count of domestic battery.
Metro Police said Jordan has worked for the department since 2023. The department assigned him to the Community Safety Division with the Enterprise Area Command.
Police said they will place him on suspension of police powers pending the investigation.
According to Las Vegas Justice Court records, his initial appearance is set for Monday morning.
