A fatal motorcycle crash temporarily closed part of westbound U.S. 50 near Silver Street in Lyon County early Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m. near Dayton, close to Douglas Street.
Nevada Highway Patrol said the crash involved a motorcycle and a pickup. The unidentified motorcyclist died at the scene.
The investigation is still underway, and drivers should watch for emergency vehicles near the crash site.
