Elk Common in Coastal Community
Elk are frequently seen in and around Cannon Beach, often drawing attention from both locals and tourists. However, their presence has also raised concerns about safety and human-wildlife interactions.
Local officials have been exploring solutions such as public education campaigns, designated elk corridors and other measures to reduce conflict between people and wildlife.
Investigation Ongoing
No suspects have been identified so far, and the case remains under active investigation as authorities continue to gather evidence and review tips from the public.
