Three men have been arrested in connection with an August shooting in Monroe County that left a victim wounded multiple times, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators, Starkville police helped arrest Ivon Terrell Richardson, 19, Thomas Harris Richardson III, 18, and Ladaylien Meko Boykin, 18, on November 2. All three are from Macon and were arrested in Starkville without incident.
Each has been charged with aggravated assault in connection with what detectives call a home invasion.
The incident occurred shortly before midnight on August 30 at a home on Trimble Road in the Valley Chapel subdivision.
Authorities reported that the subject was shot many times but survived. The victim managed to make it to a neighbor’s house, where someone called 911 and deputies arrived.
According to the sheriff’s office, two of the three suspects were already out on bond in connection with previous robbery-related shootings in the Golden Triangle region when the Monroe County incident occurred. Investigators said one of the previous shootings occurred in Aberdeen.
Bond was set at $150,000 for each suspect.
The investigation is still underway, and the sheriff’s office says more arrests are possible.
The charges are allegations, and all three suspects are deemed innocent until proven guilty in court.
