Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting earlier this week in Albany.
The Albany Police Department says Braylen Robinson was arrested during an investigation into a shooting on April 28 in the 1000 block of South Cleveland Street.
According to officials, the incident injured numerous persons and claimed the life of 31-year-old Kiambria Young. male
According to investigators, Robinson is allegedly tied to a second incident on April 29 in South Albany. In that case, a man victim was shot while in a car with a female driver and an infant child.
During the investigation, officers sought to contact Robinson, which resulted in a pursuit after he escaped from police.
Robinson was subsequently arrested and sent to the Dougherty County Jail.
He faces several charges, including three counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officials, reckless driving, and felony flight and attempting to evade.
Authorities said the homicide investigation is still ongoing.
