A Florida man was sentenced to 48 months in federal prison on one count of conspiracy to commit bank fraud and two charges of aggravated identity theft.

According to court documents, Guy Gerral Georges, 32, conspired with another person in a conspiracy to obtain thousands of dollars using counterfeit ATM cards.

Prosecutors said Georges utilized a card programming device, along with information provided by his co-conspirator, to get access to several people’s bank accounts via various ATM machines. They claimed Georges was halted by cops and arrested in the middle of the scheme.

A federal grand jury indicted Georges on March 4, 2025. Georges pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to conduct bank fraud and two counts of aggravated identity theft on October 14, 2025.

The case was investigated by the United States Secret Service and the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office as part of their Cyber Fraud Task Force relationship.
