Animal lovers in Eugene, Oregon will have an opportunity to meet adoptable pets this weekend during a special adoption event.
Greenhill Humane Society is partnering with RV Outlet to host the event Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the RV dealership.
Organizers say the event will give community members a chance to interact with dogs and other animals currently available for adoption through the shelter.
Kelly Fleischman, outreach and events manager for Greenhill Humane Society, and Nichole Armas, sales and public relations representative for RV Outlet, helped organize the event.
Shelter staff say the event is designed to connect animals in need of homes with potential adopters while increasing awareness about local pet adoption opportunities.
Greenhill Humane Society regularly hosts outreach events throughout the region to help place animals with families and encourage responsible pet ownership.
