Authorities in Tanzania are investigating the sudden death of Portland-based influencer Ashlee Jenae Robinson, who died while on vacation in Zanzibar with her fiancé.
Police have confirmed that Joe McCann, a crypto hedge fund executive and founder of Asymmetric Financial, is being questioned as part of the ongoing investigation. His passport has been temporarily seized pending the results of an autopsy.

According to officials, the couple arrived in Zanzibar on April 4 on a tourist visa and were staying at Hotel Zuri Zanzibar.

She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead on April 9.
