One person has died and another has been arrested following a shooting inside an apartment in Washington County, Oregon late Friday night.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report of a shooting just before 11 p.m. from someone inside an apartment in the 19000 block of Northwest Mahama Way in the Rock Creek neighborhood.
When deputies arrived, they attempted life-saving measures on the victim, identified as 35-year-old Kenmani Adkins. However, Adkins was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities arrested 26-year-old Stevon Bagnera at the apartment on suspicion of shooting Adkins. Officials said Bagnera is currently being held without bail.
Investigators said the shooting happened after a disturbance involving several people. The case remains under investigation.
