A man who caused panic outside a Portland Trail Blazers game after firing a handgun while naked has been sentenced to six months in jail, according to court records.
Robert D. Hatley, 44, pleaded guilty to charges of reckless endangerment and unlawful possession of a firearm as a convicted felon in a deal with prosecutors in Multnomah County.

The incident occurred on Nov. 5, 2025, as crowds were leaving the basketball game in Portland. Witnesses reported seeing Hatley holding a gun and pointing it at his own head and chin before firing a single shot.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident, though the situation alarmed nearby fans and bystanders.
Drug Use Played a Role
