A targeted law enforcement operation aimed at reducing retail theft in Roseburg has resulted in two arrests, with authorities continuing efforts to locate additional suspects.
According to the Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team, detectives carried out the enforcement patrol on April 28 in response to growing concerns from local businesses and residents about rising criminal activity. The operation was part of a broader initiative supported by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners.
During the operation, officers arrested Sean McCraw, 37, and Danielle Warner, 38, both from Roseburg. They face charges including theft, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of fentanyl.
Both individuals were booked into the Douglas County Jail. Investigators say at least two more people connected to the case have yet to be located, and additional arrests are expected.
DINT officials noted that while the team primarily focuses on investigating high-level drug trafficking in Douglas County, these targeted patrols are designed to address retail theft and related crimes affecting the community.
The operation involved collaboration with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Roseburg Police Department. Authorities emphasized that similar enforcement efforts will continue as part of an ongoing strategy to combat crime in the area.
Cases stemming from the operation are being handled by the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office.
