The Florence Police Department is asking for help finding a 14-year-old boy.
According to police, Joseph Jones Jr. of Crittenden was last seen around 12:38 p.m. Sunday at the northbound Rest Area on I-71/75, then disappeared into the woods behind the Rest Area and headed east toward Dozer Drive and Dixie Highway.
Jones is described as white, 5’8″, 200 pounds, with blonde/strawberry-blonde hair and acne scars on both cheeks. He was last saw wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, gray and black trousers, and black Crocs.
Jones is deemed critically missing, and police have issued a Golden Alert based on his medical history in an effort to locate him as soon as possible.
