The Cleveland Division of Police Fifth District Vice Unit apprehended a man involved in drug trafficking May 4.

The Cleveland Division of Police made the announcement on Thursday.

The team conducted a search warrant and discovered probable crack cocaine, marijuana, two loaded handguns, a scale, and $900 associated with drug operations, according to the division.

The investigation lasted a week and began with a complaint received by the commander’s office.

Following the search, police detained and charged a 52-year-old man with narcotics trafficking and possessing a weapon while disabled.

“The Cleveland Division of Police remains committed to proactive investigations and keeping illegal drugs and firearms off our streets,” the department added.
