A 22-year-old man convicted of murder in Ocala was sentenced to life in prison and is not expected to ever walk free again.
According to court documents, Blayze White received a life sentence for shooting and killing Derrick Brown.
Brown was killed while playing a video game in June 2024.
White was already serving a 60-year term on previous counts, including as theft and firearm possession.
Fredrick Lowe, 22, and Zayshawn Webb, 19, face first-degree murder charges in Brown’s death.
