According to the Hoosier Lottery, two Powerball tickets worth $50,000 each were sold at gas stations in Central Indiana in recent drawings, with each matching four of five numbers plus the Powerball, but neither has been claimed.
One ticket was sold at a Murphy Express location on Indianapolis’ east side. The second was sold at a Circle K in Greenfield. The Hoosier Lottery is advising anyone who purchased a Powerball ticket at either location to thoroughly check their numbers.
Tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date at a Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Office. Players with questions can contact Hoosier Lottery customer care at 1-800-955-6886.
Nobody has hit the jackpot since March 17, when an Ohio winner collected $60 million, making this run four months old and expanding.
Tickets are $2; add Power Play for an additional dollar to multiply non-jackpot rewards. The drawing will take place on Wednesday, July 15, at 10:59 p.m. Eastern.
The odds of winning the prize are one in 292.2 million. If you recently purchased a ticket in Central Indiana, check it before proceeding.
