Florida Motorcycle Crash Exposes Fugitive Sought In Mississippi And Missouri

A response to a Sunday night motorcycle crash led Flagler County deputies to arrest a man after discovering he was a wanted fugitive in two other states.

Deputies responded to a single-vehicle wreck along Belle Terre Parkway in Palm Coast, where the rider, identified as 42-year-old Jaime Carrillo of Palm Coast, sustained minor injuries. Paramedics transported Carrillo via ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.

While Carrillo was en route to the emergency room, deputies ran his identification through state and national law enforcement databases. The background check revealed that Carrillo was an active fugitive facing multiple outstanding warrants across Mississippi and Missouri.

According to authorities, Carrillo faced a 2024 warrant out of Mississippi for a parole violation tied to dangerous drug offenses. He also faced three separate failure-to-appear warrants in Missouri, stemming from original charges of receiving stolen property, harassment, and tampering with a victim.
