Two men are facing charges after an undercover drug operation conducted by local police.

According to information released by the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office, undercover officers made contact with a man named Devin Holt of Wilkinsburg.

The undercover investigator pretended to want to acquire methamphetamine from Holt.

According to police, Holt guided the undercover investigator to a property on Linshan Drive in North Huntingdon Township for the deal. Police said the officer was instructed over the phone to enter a basement door and exchange pre-recorded money for the drugs.

The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office and North Huntingdon Township police officers returned to the house with a search warrant the next day. Russell Heyz, the homeowner, was arrested, along with two co-conspirators.

Inside the house, police said they found crystal methamphetamine, gamma-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB), scales, and packaging baggies.

According to police, Heyz told officers that he occasionally provided crystal meth to the co-conspirators. One of the two informed officers that Heyz would provide them the drugs in exchange for money, fun, or sexual intercourse. During their initial release, police made no mention of the charges filed against those two people.

Heyz and Holt both face drug-related accusations.
